Day 9: Tempe (Rest day)

Breakfasted at Matt's Big Breakfast. Had Egg and Bacon Sandwich, and very good it was too.

Then it was off to watch the game at the Rose and Crown. United lost, whats new these days! Had a couple of beers; the London Pride was somewhat below par ... much like United!

Thought I'd do a bit of culture, so went to the Arizona Art Gallery, but was refused entry as apparently today was a members only day. I did say that I was only in town for the day, but no joy there. Later it was pointed out that America is a country of wide roads and narrow minds, to which I thought it best not to comment!

Went for a meal in a Persian restaurant on the opposite side of the road from the hotel. The Aash soup was excellent and would recommend a visit if you're passing by!

Anyway it is back on the bike tomorrow to a place called Globe.
