Day 106: Cazorla (Cycling)
Last night's meal with Tim and Helen was a pleasure. However, I did feel a little hungover this morning; perhaps I shouldn't have had that final glass of red wine!
The good news was the weather was better than was fo recast. So, late morning we agreed to embark on an out and back cycle ride to Arroyo Frió, which necessitated cycling up and over the Puerto de Las Palomas in both directions.
On the first assault of the Puerto we passed through ...
... stopped at the 1200 metres altitude marker for a photograph ...
... and eventually arrived at the Puerto:
Then it was downhill all the way to ...
for a picnic (thanks for the sandwich Helen!) and coffee.

It was coffee and ice cream time on our return to Cazorla, which is always a good way to end a ride!:
Indeed, a very pleasant cycle ride with Tim and Helen, and much needed recovery ride!
