Day 110: Fairplay (3034m, 9,953ft, 2.26bn )

So today is the day that Americans celebrate their Independence. It is such a joy to be here today!

Especially as there was some great cycling to be had on the way to Fairplay. However I made a mistake at lunch time when I consumed a milk shake, coke, buffalo burger with bacon, blue cheese, mushrooms and french fries, which was less than conducive to cycling. Instead lying down for a few hours to enable the digestive juices to do their job would have been a better option.

Moreover, it did not help that I was being chased down the road by a thunderstorm!
