Day 111: Cirat (Ciclo)

A fairly easy day out on the bike. Only one "proper" climb of about 12 kilometres to an altitude of 900 metres:

Funny (or maybe not!) that this and the previous climb both have 100 as a factor in the numerical value of their altitude!

On the way up I could not fail to notice the vividness of this tree's foliage colour. Even though I doubt a photograph could do it justice, I took one anyway!

It was seen, soon after passing through:

Where this steampunk contraption can be found:

On completing the descent to Montanejos, I went exploring to see why it was such a honey pot for tourists. It seems to attract swimmers and bathers, wild water rafters, climbers, walkers and cyclists.

And, again, it was mobbed!

Passing through the pueblos there was much merriment witnessed:

Finally, a reminder as to where I'm currently residing and, leaving tomorrow:

  • Distance driven: 0
  • Distance cycled: 56 kilometres
  • Weather: Mostly sunny.
