Day 116: Xerta (Cycle)
Ebro Rio, canal, weir and power plant (I think!):
Given my current location is adjacent to a via Verde (a Greenway, for walkers and cyclists) and Xerta is so pleasant, I thought I'd go for a mixed via Verde and road cycle ride today, which would mean another night of peace and tranquility here in Xerta!

There wasn't much in the way of climbing on the route, so I was somewhat surprised to see this signpost:
I did make it to the top!
Eventually, I rejoined the via Verde for a 10 kilometre downhill run into Xerta. It was great. Indeed, so good, I plan to get some more via Verde action in tomorrow!
