Day 126: Jackson (1,972m, 6,469ft, 1.47bn )

Went to a ghost town. It was mobbed. Sods law that we should visit Bannock on Bannock Days (Third weekend in July). Here are some photographs taken in Bannock where the last residents left in the 1970s.

Strong head winds were the dominant feature of the day. Indeed, it appeared as though no matter which direction we road the wind was against us. Obviously the fact that we had two long (ish) climbs did not help. However, it was a very nice suprise to see Creed with the van approximately 3 miles from the top of the second climb (Big Hole Pass). Thanks Creed.
