Day 14: Port de Sollér (Drive)

More rain today, so a perfect opportunity to do some vanwork and maintenance.

The primmary maintenance was to fix a skylight blind that has been in a state of malfunction for sometime. Here's a photo mid repair:

The task was to replace the blind's broken cords. Fortunately, Larry, a blindmaker, provided me with replacement cord for the job. Thanks Larry, it worked a treat.

Amazingly, the company that manufactures the skylights do not sell replacement cord/springs/crimps as replacements. Instead it would appear they expect you to purchase a new skylight at a cost of hundreds of pounds or, presumably, to make a "Heath Robinson" repair! Sustainability!

Before leaving for Port de Soller, I took this photo from where I stayed last night.

My fingers are crossed for better weather tomorrow!
