Day 16: Port de Polença (Drive/Cycle)
In stark contrast to yesterday's weather, today it was mostly sunshine with temperatures about 16°C in the sunshine and 12.5°C ish in the shade. Accordingly it was summer cycling clothes for me today, which served me fine until about 3pm when the sun took a break behind some clouds. The lightweight windblocker jacket was then called in to action. Apparently, there is more of the same forecast for tomorrow.
The cycling didn't start until about 12.30pm, following a drive from Port de Sollér to Port de Pollença, and a stop for victuals.
Then it was off to Far de Formentor to see the lighthouse. The cycling was good. On return to Port de Polença it was a leisurely cycle to check out Alcudia and then back to the van.
Obviously there was a coll sign:
... some windy roads: ... and at the end of the road:- Distance driven: 43 miles
- Distance cycled: 63 km
- Weather: Mostly sunny.
- Location: Google Maps
