Day 163: La Tanniere (Cycle)
Today's ride took us past the Basilica of Our Lady of Hope in Pontmain, which was built in response to the reported apparition of the Virgin Mary to four children, in the year of our Lord 1871.
One thing you can definitely say about the cycling in Bretagne is that the hills are rolling and there appears to be a scarcity of roads without an incline. The climbs are fairly short, fairly frequent and thus ideal for some serious interval training if that's the kind of cycling you like.
