Day 175 (Another Rest Day in San Francisco
So after I left Sinclair to catch his return airplane to the UK (perhaps less united (if it ever truely was) in a few weeks time) I walked to the Castro Theater, a 1922 movie theatre.
It even has an old Werlitzer, which was played during the interval between "Dead Poets Society" and "Good Will Hunting"
The conclusion is that San Francisco is a great place to visit, especially if you bypass the obvious tourist traps, such as, Fisherman's Wharf. It would be good to return, perhaps after 2016 when the SFMOMA reopens it's doors.
Also we did investigate the possibility of eating breakfast at the renowned "Mama's" but, on each of the two occasions that we visited, the queues were far too long and we were far too hungry to wait! Also, neither of us is good at queuing!.
