Day 18: El Paso

Yesturday was fierce headwinds, punctures, cooking for 15 and sleeping in a tent. Today it was joyous tailwinds, no punctures (even though I found a goathead thorn in my front tyre!), dining in a restsurant and sleeping in a bed. Oh the joyous ups and downs of the journey.

The reason we are staying in a hotel is that El Paso is border town/city and, as such is deemed unsafe to camp (amongst other things). Indeed, it is believed thst if we were to camp anywhere around here we are likely to awake with just the sleeping bag that we slept in.

Passed into Texas (The lone star state) today.
