Day 35: Silsbee

So today the road kill count was noticeably higher than previously encountered: a dog, a squirrel, 3 large birds, 1 totty (small) bird, a raccoon, an armadillo, various kills that were so splattered that they were indistinguishable (and a partridge in a pear tree)!

Also, in the early days of the tour I would find myself cycling along and would encounter a smell that was overpowering and absolutely awful and would think to myself what kind of hideous crop is being grown around here? Only to shortly discover that what I first thought was the smell of a crop was in fact the smell of road kill (the smell of death in the sun!).

Happy Easter.
