Day 22: Fort Davis (Rest Day)

Rest day that started with some much needed bike maintenance: the locking nut of the cassette was not tightened enough by the bike mechanic in El Centro so had worked loose resulting in a hideous rattle when cycling over rough ground. All fixed now.

This was followed by a trip to the Mcdonald Observatory where we saw "live" images of the sun and a tour of their telescopes.

Then it was to the Drugstore for, perhaps, the largest two scoup ice cream in Christendom!

Swiftly followed by a siesta!
