Day 1: Dieppe to Noyant-Villages (Ferry then Drive)

Here beginneth the fourth installment of Whereisdave's winter/spring blog posts, which will chronicle my adventures (mostly cycling!) in Spain (mostly), France (just a "bit part" really!) and, perhaps, Portugal.
Effectively, this first post of this current adventure is almost a rinse-and-repeat of last year's first day. Except that I did remember to put the deflector thingys on the headlights before it got dark!
The ferry sailing was plain, the roads were quiet, the route through Rouen was a significant improvement on the previous years' routing and, I arrived at the Aire (fancy name for a parkup location for moterhomes, campervans and other such travelling contraptions) located at Noyant-Villages in good time.
Just looked to see when the sun will rise tomorrow hereabouts, only to discover that the temperature is predicted to fall to -3°C tonight. Currently it is 1°C. So much for going south for some warmth! Oh, and by the way, sunrise is 0847. It will set at 1738 at my hoped for destination.
It's 9pm, it's getting cold in the van, so it must be time for bed!

Obviously, the foregoing photos were taken the following morning; it was pitch black when I arrived!
