Day 113: Leulinghen-Bernes (Drive)
Well it was a chilly night in Maire. In fact it was so unexpectedly cold
Crossed the Continental Divide again today at Willow Creek Pass (2,944m, 9,659, 2.19bn).
Today's cycling was a game of two halves. The first mountainous forests the second open plains. Unfortunately the trees in the Arapaho forest are mainly dead or dying. However, it does appear that new trees are growing.
The high plains make you acutely aware as to just how vast Colorado alone is, let alone the USA as a whole. Indeed photographs cannot do it justice. But nonetheless here goes:
