Day 11: Pinedo [nrr Valencia](Drive)

Back to square one!

Unfortunately the part for my bike did not arrive today. Fingers crossed it will do so tomorrow.

However, I did manage to:

• Wash the outside of the van;
• Wash and dry clothes; and
• Get some food.

But, perhaps more importantly, I managed to pull together, without string, a "Heath Robinson" solution to a most annoying rattle that had developed in the van, which consisted of:

• Two pads that are normally used at the end of chair legs to prevent them from damaging floors;
• Two nickel plated steel washers (M6);
• One neodymium magnet; and
• 1g of Super Glue.

The eight mile return drive, to what is becoming my forever night time parkup location, indicated that the rattle is no more. Result! Cost, about €15. However, there remains enough leftovers to facilitate at least one more de-rattler solution, should it be required! Having said that, the cost is nothing compared with the pleasure of silence brought about by adopting the ethos of "Heath Robinson"! Cheers mate! (Why not check out the Heath Robinson Museum - I didn't realise that such a place existed! Indeed, I'm tempted to make a visit on my return to the UK).
