Day 111: Pierre (Rest Day)

So I thought a rest day in the capital of South Dakota a good idea as 1) I can plan my itinerary up to the start of RAGBRAI 2) visit the State Capitol Building.

I'm pretty much amazed at the architecture of the State Capitol Building especially given the state of the other buildings: the worst in utilitarian strip mall structures. All rather disappointing really, The same could also be said of the culture.

But, nonetheless it has been a relaxing day. So hopefully good for a 103 mile ride tomorrow. Let's hope that either the wind speed has dropped by then, or turned into a tailwind.
