Day 127: Santes Creus (Cycling)
Last night was a night when I was yet again mosquitoed. At first I thought
A fairly easy and relaxed ride today: a couple of climbs, one monastery and one sanctuary.

The first climb was:
... clearly somebody wanted the gradient to be a surprise! It was a steady 4% or so.
The second "official" climb came 7 kilometres into a 3% climb, ...

Other happenings:
- On two separate occasions a vehicle, one a motorhome the other a manky old van, chose to park right next to me, in a car park with a great deal of empty parking spaces, and leave their vehicle running for what seemed like an inordinate amount of time: WHY? Inconsiderate b'stards!
- The rear window broke again! Not spontaneously but, not wanting to open the window since it previously broke, just in case it broke again!, it was oh so hot in the van and, thus, wanting to increase the air flow through it I thought I'd see if the window would open with just a little amount of force, which I duely applied and, the previously broken bit broke of in my hand! This time I have used epoxy resin to make a rather messy repair, which appears to have worked but, for how long is yet to be determined!

- Weather: A mixture of hazy sunshine and blazing hot sunshine and a gentle breeze. On returning to my van it did cross my mind that it's getting a bit too hot for my liking!
