Day 155: La Palud-sur-Verdon (Cycle)

To my surprise, Sant Corneli resides at an elevation of 960 metres! Therefore, today's ride started with a descent:
On reaching this sign:
I'd already been climbing to this "Coll of the Day" for about 8 kilometres! Note that the remaining distance to the Coll is 8 kilometres with an average gradient of 8.27%. However, all is not what it first seems! The final six kilometres have the following average gradients (per kilometre): 8.6%, 12.7%, 7.8%, 11.4%, 15.2% and 7.4%!

Note the 20% gradient sign in the middle distance and the maximum gradient of 24%. I can confirm that mostly the final six kilometres of this climb are brutal. You've been warned.
On the descent I collected this coll sign on the way; effectively I got two colls for the climb of one!
Note the rain in the distance, which I fortunately did not encounter!
Finally, whilst cycling the picturesque road that is Carr. de Sant Corneli I was passed by the Google Streetmap Car, perhaps I've been Googled!
