Day 139: Vic (Drive/Cycle/Drive)
First there was a short drive to La Pobla de Lillet: Where they have a
A col sign many kilometres from the coll!
When I awoke at about 8am, and looked out of the rectangular window, it was foggy of the thick dense kind, which was not in the forecast when I went to sleep! If I had a heart it would have sunk!!
However, by 9.30am the fog had gone, blue skies had appeared and the sun was out. If I had some spirits they would have risen!
Oh to be phlegmatic!
Today's ride was all about one thing: cycling to the Coll de Pal. The question was: was it going to be my pal?
The climb was about 20 kilometres in length, with an average gradient of 6.74% and a total elevation gain of about 1,325 metres.

It was about 5 or 6°C at the coll and the wind was "blowing a bastard". I didn't hang around. Once documentary evidence was gathered, I donned gilet, wind jacket and gloves and, commenced the descent, which was fantastic but, chilly!
