Day 113: Leulinghen-Bernes (Drive)
Well it was a chilly night in Maire. In fact it was so unexpectedly cold
So at last night's map meeting discussions were had with regards to our itinerary for the following two days: Either have two riding days of 40ish miles and stay overnight at Prineville or, ride to Sisters and have a rest day on the second day. Alex and I opted for the latter and the rest split the journey. Clearly riding to Sisters in a oner was the best option in terms of time in Sisters relaxing and for a lie-in!
On the way to Sisters we got our first sighting of the Cascade Mountains. And it looks as though Sinclair and I have some fantastic cycling ahead of us when we cycle from Vancouver to San Francisco, starting on the 12th August.
These cloud formations were spotted late afternoon during the ride between Redmond and Sisters.
