Day 19: Benissa (Cyclo)

Mostly the reverse of yesterday's ride with an added bonus!

The first climb of the day was up the valley de la Petracos, from the summit of which there is a good view of the masts at Miserat (elevation 731 metres).

Then it was a descent to La Vall d'Ebo:

For the start of the climb up to port/puerto d'Ebo (the reverse of yesterday's climb)

To the summit:

From which a most enjoyable decent was had towards the bonus climb of the day:

You may recall that Michael and I climbed the Sorell the other day from the opposite direction.

Accordingly, I think that I have now completed all climbs, in both directions, with a gradient of at least 3% and a minimum length of 1 kilometre, as shown on the North Costa Blanca Cycle Map. Having said that, I had thought I'd already achieved this before we stumbled across the Sorell! So, maybe I'll stumble across another "missed" climb soon!

From there, all that was left of the ride was 33 kilometres or so of a return to the van, with some flat stuff and a final "official Garmin (navigational aid) climb of roughly 4.5 kilometres. I must admit, I was rather tired by the time I arrived at the van!
