Day 20: Denia (Rest Day)

Due to the forecast of rain, today was designated a rest day. And, indeed it did rain for most of the day so, without doubt it was the correct decision.

I started my day with an outing "a hunting and a gathering" for bread. I'd forgotten that I needed more bread and it only dawned on me as I awoke that I was lacking this essential foodstuff for breakfast! The foraging ended at "Tradition & Macaron" where a large "Masa Madre" loaf was procured.

So toast and marmalade returned to the breakfast menu along with coffee.

Not much else happened. I spent the rest of the day in my van; booked July accommodation for the Isle of Mull; and looked at where I may go on leaving Denia. As a result of a headache I took a nap in the afternoon and later joined Lynn and the others at the Denia Hotel for dinner. The price for dinner has increased by €3, but remains pretty good value.
