Day 22: Denia (Benidorm)

An early start to the day for me. Up at 6.45AM and out of the van by 7.15am to meet up with the others at the railway station for 7.30, whence tickets were bought for the 7.50am train to Benidorm.

Due to railway works the train journey included a bus transfer from Calpe to Altea, which caused a delay for some on the return trip because the bus was unable to carry all the train passengers in one go!

The reason for visiting Benidorm was to watch the UCI Cyclocross Word Cup.
