Day 24: Altea (Drive)
I was expecting rain, but there was hardly any in Altea! Perhaps it mostly fell on the plain!
Because I was expecting rain, I chose to prioritise the purchase of some quality bread. Then I set about the task of getting my laundry done. Given that I was starting the task late morning I was expecting the laundrette to be quiet. Well it was when I arrived. Shortly thereafter, it soon became rammed! Especially with women bringing their wet washing in to tumble dry, which meant a MASSIVE (Trumpism here) backlog for the drying of clothes washed on site. For me, it was an additional 15 to 20 minute delay. I know, not only is this an exceptionally minor first world problem, what is worse, sadly I found time to mention it in this post! Yes, it's been a quiet day!
Later, after some route planning, assessing weather forcasts and researching future stopover locations, I went for a walk along Altea's promenade, which obviously helped with my wellbeing!
Now for some calming photos!
I have no idea what this sculpture is all about, but it caught my eye:

I Like the composition of this photo:

And this one almost works:

And, just in case you have forgotten, I'm currently staying in Altea (it has an aire, which permits up to 48 hours free parking for six motorhomes - my campervan is parked in one of them, and the others are all occupied):

And, now for two sunset photographs:

It turned out to be a fairly relaxing day!
