Day 35: Loz Alcázares (Cycle)

Didn't sleep well! But woke up only 20 minutes later than usual.

Another sunny day with strong winds. So I went for a short spin up and down the coast with the built environment providing some shelter from the worst of the wind.

Also, I was able to get confirmation from the owners of the Grumpy Goat that they will be showing the football tomorrow! (I watched football there in Year 1).

Heading out from my current basecamp, I saw this piece of road infrastructure promoting the pueblo:

Oh yes, on my return to the van I discovered I'd stooped to a new level of stupidity. Fortunately, no lasting damage was done. Note to self: Skylight, Handbrake!

  • Distance driven: 0
  • Distance cycled: 49 kilometres
  • Weather: 9 hours of sunshine and strong winds for about 11 hours, but much calmer now. T's about 16°C, with a wind chill of about -9°C, resulting in a "it feels like temperature" of 7°C. Foot remained warm!
