Today was a moving on day. However, based on the all day blue skies and light airs, it should have been a cycling day! Yet, there were chores to be done and other cycling routes I wanted to explore, so move on I did.
Before leaving I arose early (8am!) to once again go foraging for bread. As the sun was rising I "snapped" this early morning photo ...
... on my way to the Forn Moraira (Forn = Ovan) where I bought a hogaza semellas (a seeded loaf), some of which I ate on returning to the van with some butter and marmalade and, a good cup of coffee - "the breakfast of champions".
Various chores were then completed and I arrived at my latest park-up location at about 2:30pm: Llíber. It is a small village in the Vall de Pop, which apparently is well known for its sun dried raisins.
The village's main road is single track and has a set of traffic lights at the village outskirts to allow alternative single file traffic to flow through the village. Here's a photo of the village square, which has a cafe/restaurant popular with cyclists, tourists and the locals:
And here is a photo of my van adjacentto fields used to grow grapes (at least I think that's what's grown in them! - given that this valley is supposed to be famous for the farming of grapes it is a reasonable supposition!:
So I've moved from Moraira's motorhome central to campervan solo here in Llįber!
