Day 113: Leulinghen-Bernes (Drive)
Well it was a chilly night in Maire. In fact it was so unexpectedly cold
Well this morning Sue returned me to the bike shop at 11am. The wheel was delivered at 2.30pm. Unfortunately a 24 inch wheel was sent rather than the required 20 inch. However, we removed the internals of the old hub and replaced them with the new, which by far was the best solution. So was on the road at approximately 3.45pm. Thanks to the guys at Finish Line Pro Bike Shop in El Centro.
Cycled below sea level today.
I manged to cycle 30 to 40 miles towards Palo Verde, from the bike shop, before Sue arrived in the van to pick me up and take me the rest of the way to tonight's campsite. Thus, getting me into camp at a reasonable time for tonight's meal. Thanks again to Sue.
This is today's "official" route
