Just a mere 100 kilometres offering more than 2000 metres of climbing was definitely a good way to spend this sunny day with little or no wind and virtually zero motorised traffic.
It started with a descent from an elevation of 450m to 270m, followed by a climb up to the Port de Tudons (Elevation 1025m): the high point of the day!
On the road out of the village of Sella there is this sign showing the climb in numbers, at which point you will have already ascended about 150 metres!

At first sight one may be pleased for a bit of respite. However, the pleasure is very much short lived because the descent is to a bridge over the river (name not known) followed by a 20% ascent!
Finally I arrived at the summit (second highest point of the day)...
... which left just one more climb:
... and then mostly downhill to Relleu (Elevation 450 [car park]).
