Day 70: La Isleta del Moro (Cycle)
I was pleased to be out on the bike today. The weather forecast indicated there

I've moved to a great park-up location located on the outskirts of Busot. Here is a photograph of the old Busot Castle and my van:
Today's route took me back to Relleu! The reason being I wanted to cycle on a couple of roads I'd so far not traversed. It was well worth it, not only because I enjoyed cycling these new roads to me but, also because on arrival in Relleu some roads were closed and spectators lined the streets to watch the women cyclist of the Tour of Valencia pass through the town. so I did likewise!
And here's a photo taken on my return to Busot, which coincidentally was the route the Women took to the finish line in Alicante:
What I didn't photograph was the many gel wrappers discarded by the racers at a feeding zone I cycled through. I thought the whole point of having a feed zone was to facilitate a proper clean up and disposal of waste. All rather disappointing to see!
