Day 53: Steamboat Springs

So I awoke about 6am. Thought I'd check on the weather. This what I saw:

So I went back to bed. Awoke at 9.15am! Looked outside and it was not precipitating. Great.

Was on the road for 10am. Amazingly until approximately 2pm I was riding in sunshine. Then as I turned northwards at Kremmling I was riding into a north easterly headwind and the temperature plummeted. Only 52 miles to Steamboat Springs though!

The descent from Rabbit Ears Pass, was a tad chilly! It is oh so annoying when the ascent is preferable to the descent!
