Day 55: Terque (Walk/Cycle)
A day of two halves (not to be taken too literally!)
The first half was a walk around Terque. The pueblo looked interesting. lt didn't disappoint. I thought it would take 5 to 10 minutes. Instead, it was more like a couple of hours! It is one of those Cueves Pueblos, where many of the homes are built into the hillside: Homes for Bilbo Baggins!
At the top of the hill you'll find the "Ermita de la Cruz":

And there is a house where you can listen to the Delinqüentes:

The second half of the day was a cycle ride, which as you will no doubt soon appreciate (as evidenced by the following two photographs) has to be one of the finest climbs in Christendom. Accordingly, it is now one of new favourite climbs. It is such a good climb. Yet, I don't think it is very well known .... ssh, don't tell anyone else, let's keep it a secret between me and you, my dear reader!

The climb takes you up to Ohanes: Like one of those Pueblos Blancos of Andalusia. I say like, because there does appear to be an official list of Andalusian Pueblos Blancos, and Ohanes isn't on the list! Even though it resides in Andalusia and, other than the church, looks pretty white to me!

I also passed by:
