Day 9: Pinedo [nrr Valencia] (Yet More Resting and a Walk!)

It's all about the weather. More rain today! However, rather than the anticipated heavy rain, it has been a near consistent very light rain. Not, as in drizzle, which has a smaller rain drop size, more like normal rain but with fewer drops per second per unit area! I'm sure there is a proper descriptive word for this type of rain, similar to Eskimos having 50 words for snow, there must (should) be a correct equivalent for rain!

Anyhoo, I did take a round trip walk over to the Corres in Castellar-Oliveral. When, I say walk, I really mean to amble. I wouldn't want you to get the impression that I'm a proper walker .... as in hiker, route marcher, Olympic walker, trekker, proper rambler type. Like I said, I'm more of an ambler .... as in plodder, stroller, saunterer, taking my time, enjoying the view kind of guy! After all what's the rush? Actually, I suppose what I really mean is: I'm a cyclist!

But, now and again, I do enjoy a slow photo walk! Here's some photos taken on today's amble:

That thing that looks lik a bus is, in fact, a motorhome!

Clearly fly-tipping doesn't only affect the U.K!

This area, south of Valencia, is renowned for its rice production.

Forecast is for cycling weather tomorrow!
