Day 90: Algodonales (Drive/Cycle/Drive)
An early rise and shine for me (7am!). Breskfast, washup, and "batten down the hatches" for a mountain drive to El Burgo where today's ride started.
And, again, it was climbing from the get go.
Here's a photo taken on the climb:

And at the top of this enjoyable climb:

From there it was a descent to the outskirts of Ronda and on to Arriate:

Where this caught my eye!:

Then in it was onwards to:

After some more climbing, through vast olive groves either side of the road, the vista suddenly opened up and the road surface markedly deteriorated:

Lunch was had here:

And on the final climb of the day I took this photograph:

There was no Puerto sign at the summit! The stats are:
Name: Puerto de las Viboras, Length: 7.8 kilometres, Average Gradient 6%, Elevation Gain: 438 metres. It is worth noting that there are some steep ramps on this climb.
Having returned to the van it was food and coffee time, and a repeat of battening down of metaphorically hatches for another mountain drive!
- Distance driven: 63 miles
 - Distance cycled: 81 kilometres
 - Weather: Another warm day (34°C in the van a 3pm!)
 - Location: Google Maps
