Day 99: Cabra (Cycle)

Even if I say so myself, yet another good route today. Much of the day was spent cycling on very quiet roads: just me cycling my bike listening to the bird song. What's not to like?

And there were plenty of olive trees to see along the way!



As you can see there are plenty of olive trees in this "neck of the woods"!

The route provided plenty of ups and downs. Indeed, according to my Garmin (navigational aid) there was about 49 kilometres of climbing. However, there was only one puerto sign:

The route passed through the Pueblo of Rute not once but twice. This photo was taken on leaving it the second time:

• Distance driven: 0
• Distance cycled: 113 kilometres
• Weather: Mostly cloudy, occasionally sunshine. Temperature range about 12°C when I set off and about 22°C in the afternoon sunshine (on the odd occasion when the sun did shine on me!)
