Day 113: Leulinghen-Bernes (Drive)
Well it was a chilly night in Maire. In fact it was so unexpectedly cold
Headwinds, heat and humidity, does not make for ideal riding conditions. So retired to the air conditioned library at Odell for an hour or so at peak heat to plan future route and stopover locations.
Was glad to reach Ashkum after some 90 odd miles of cycling soaking wet (battling headwinds + emence heat + very high humidity = copious amounts of sweat that does not evaporate), which has caused chaffing where I'd most definately prefer it not to occur!
