Day 15: Calpe (A Rest Day Cycling!)

I can report that I felt much better on the bike today. Michael and I had a fairly easy cycle: Only 69 kilometres with about 880 metres of climbing. There were some headwinds to contend with and the temperatures in the shade were much cooler than they have been of late; all thanks to a change in wind direction from West to North.

Unfortunately, this morning, on returning to my van I discovered a parking ticket. It would appear that I have broken Municipal Ordinance for Circulation, Article 26 Paragraph 2! It appears to be impossible to determine the offence I've committed written in plain English; or even Spanish! Anyway, as a consequence I have incurred a fine of €70, reduced to €35 if I pay within 20 days!

• Weather: Mostly cloudless skies, but temperatures cooler in the shadows than recently but, high teens °C in the sun, and even warmer in the sun whilst also being sheltered from the wind.
