Day 70: La Isleta del Moro (Cycle)
I was pleased to be out on the bike today. The weather forecast indicated there
*6.41am departure started with a climb over Monitor Pass at 8,314ft (8 miles, 2,300ft of climbing) before breakfast at KOA restautant (very good).
*Then it was over Devils Gate Summit at 7,519ft (17 miles, 2,300ft of climbing) before lunch at the Bridgeport Inn (it would appear that the staff do not enjoy their work; best avoided).
*Finally, it was over Conway Summit at 8,318ft (9 miles, 1,500 ft of climbing) and passed Mono Lake before a high tea of ice cream and coke at the Mono Vista RV Park (an excellent campground 10/10: Highly recommended) where we camped.
