Day 19: Sant Lorrenç des Cardassar (Cycle)

An easy, mostly off road, cycle today. The main objective was to ride Mallorca's Via Verde that goes from Manacor to Artá, about 29 kilometres.

On arrival in Manacor I soon discovered that tomorrow is Sant's Antoni day, but much of the celebrations takes place the day before, including the lighting of bonfires and other such merriments.

  • Distance driven: 0
  • Distance cycled: 60 kilometres
  • Weather: Mostly sunny, high clouds mid afternoon, and amid afternoon temperature of about 23°C.
  • Location: I do like this location; it is peaceful and quiet. This is why I decided to stay another night, rather than move onto Portocolom, which had been my original plan for tonight.
