Day 71: Pueblo Salinas (Cycle/Drive)
Apart from high velocity winds in the afternoon, the weather was much improved. I know!
.... well, the wind gods were again playing at being unkind today, very unkind given that I had a 1,500m climb and 83 miles to cycle. Again, the day started with a tailwind,which by mid morning had evolved into a fierce headwind that meant the downhill was accompanied by a tailwind and the uphill by a headwind ...... so it goes! (to quote Kurt Vonnegut).
