Day 113: Leulinghen-Bernes (Drive)
Well it was a chilly night in Maire. In fact it was so unexpectedly cold
Another relaxing day, mostly spent in Rochester.
After a slow start, I visited Mike's favourite coffee shop (Java's on Gibbs St) to update my blog, which turns out to be a great place to hangout. Recommended, although Joe Beans serves a better coffee.
Mike and Danielle will be wed in October and are planning to ride the Pacific Coast next May, so there was much chat about cycle touring and a little about wedding favours!
Finally, after a leisurely slow paced ride, only 30 miles covered at an average speed of only 8 miles an hour, along the River and Erie Canal I pitched my tent at Lock 30, as there was free camping to be had.
