Day 71: Pueblo Salinas (Cycle/Drive)
Apart from high velocity winds in the afternoon, the weather was much improved. I know!
A very enjoyable ride with Roddy up to Marmelete:
Where we stopped for Bifanas and coffee, except these were much bigger than anticipated! Almost a year's helping of meat for me in one serving!
Typically, a bifana consists of thinly sliced pork marinated and simmered in a sauce of white wine, garlic and paprika, served in a soft roll.
This evening was spent in the bar "Casa Benfica" watching Rangers get beaten by Benfica by one goal to nil!
